We are a friendly, independent practice based in the Student Union buildings of the University of Leeds, close to Leeds City Centre. Our two partners Royston Bayfield and Louise Bartlam have over 25 years worth of experience in the optical market. They became practice owners for the first time in January 2004 when they bought University Vision Opticians and opened Bayfield & Bartlam Opticians, in Headingley, Leeds in January 2006. Since that time both practices have grown and developed, already achieving a great reputation in the local community. We pride ourselves on service and value - trying to make the experience of visiting the opticians as enjoyable and exciting as possible.

Our team of staff are highly trained and ready to assist you throughout your visit, whether you are interested in contact lenses or spectacles, or simply fancy a chat! We provide a complete range of contact lenses including all the major brands, as well as specialising in Ortho-K lenses.
